Workshop on Overview of Semiconductor Packaging
The Department of Mechanical Engineering Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, and Vishnu Institute of Technology jointly organized a five-day workshop on Overview of Semiconductor Packaging from 2nd to 6th June 2025. The resource person for this workshop was Dr.Pradeep Dixit from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bombay. During the workshop, various topics were covered, including an Overview of Packaging, Materials in Packaging, Electrical Design, Thermal Design, Substrates, Die-to-Die Interconnects, Encapsulation, and Failure Mechanisms & Reliability.
