MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Vishnu Institute of Technology organized a one day MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0 as the Host Institute (HI) of Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India on 03rd December 2022.

We received 44 idea submissions under MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0 from the students, faculty members with various themes like Agriculture, Health, Power/IT and Services, etc., including novel & innovative values which are useful to the society, clean & green energy initiative, innovative value proposition of products. These teams pitched their ideas and business models in this Idea Hackathon 2.0 to the jury members as the part of initial screening and 1st round of evaluation at HI level.

The main objective of our Host Institute is to promote and support untapped creativity and to promote adoption of latest technologies in MSMEs that seek the validation of their ideas at the proof-of-concept level. Financial assistance up-to maximum of Rs. 15 lakh per approved idea shall be provided by the Host Institute for developing and nurturing the idea into prototype through MSME.
