Motivation begets motivation
During the Pandemic , students made a transition from face to face learning to the online mode. This being extended over a considerable period of time, students were cut off from their college environment missing the much needed interaction with their classmates, rapport with the faculty and a spirit of belongingness. Environment plays a role leading in this extrinsic motivation. As the resources of this channel began dwindling, maintaining focus and having motivation became a challenge for both the learners and the teachers.
In attempt to raise motivation for constructive student engagement , the leadership team of SVES, with Chairman Sri K V Vishnu Raju at the helm, convened small gatherings of students physically at various venues which were in proximity to the students’ residences.
Placement season, fast approaching, students were motivated to cultivate resilience , develop intrinsic motivation that would keep them going, and to make effective utilization of time. They were made to realize that efforts do make a DIFFERENCE.
