About IEDC - InnoVIT

The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) of Vishnu Institute of Technology, branded as InnoVIT, is a state-of-the-art incubation and startup ecosystem. Established in alignment with MIC-MHRD guidelines and the National Innovation and Startup Policy 2019, InnoVIT serves as the institutional nerve centre for fostering a culture of innovation, deep-tech entrepreneurship, and intellectual property creation among students, faculty, and research scholars.

Innovation & Startup Policy is fully aligned with the National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) 2019 issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

Our goal is to promote an innovative culture by effectively managing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), technology licensing and equity sharing. We also want to create a thriving environment that supports students, faculty and start-ups

— transforming Vishnu Institute of Technology into a nationally recognized hub for deep-tech entrepreneurship and innovation-driven education.

  • Establish a vibrant and dynamic startup ecosystem across the organization.
  • Actively participate in activities related to innovation and entrepreneurship among students, faculty, and staff.

  • Provide assistance in Intellectual Property (IP) ownership management, technology licensing, and equity sharing.
  • Build sustainable linkages with industry, government bodies, and the national startup ecosystem.
  • Developing innovative ideas and solutions across disciplines.
  • Development of entrepreneurial skills and exposure to real-world entrepreneurship.
  • Provide support in the form of start-up services to aspiring entrepreneurs.
  • Involvement of Inter-Institutional Partnerships for knowledge exchange.
  • Build relationships with start-up ecosystems at local and national levels.
  • Provide support to industry through corporate & private partnerships.
