A two day workshop on Intellectual practices
Connecting Classrooms conducted for I B. Tech students of all branches. The workshop started with a welcome address by D. Vijaya Lakshmi & Dr. Naga Krishna, VEDIC Trainers. MSR Murthy, In-charge HOD Basic Science, introduced the theme of the workshop, vision and mission. The session started with Brain and its lobes, continued with Brain to Knowledge and ends with mind mapping and chart presentations, at the end of the session, Director and Principal of VIT D. Suryanarayana with all the HODs interacted with the students and pleased with their way of answering. The second day starts with the Book Review on You Can Win, and morning session ends with 8 Learning Styles and Psychometric test and in the afternoon, students' project presentations on Fire Alarm, Water Alarm, Electrostatic Precipitation, Rechargeable Fan, Hydroelectric Power Generator, Household water pump, Electroplating, Production of CO2 Gas, Hydraulic Lift, Third Party Software, Oobleck Cornstarch Slime, Microphone and Mobile Charger Circuit. Each student participated very enthusiastically and presented their projects. Students' feedback glorifies the event and completed with a big round of applause. D. Padmavathi and MSR. Murthy attended the project presentations and encouraged them. D. Vijaya Lakshmi encapsulated the outcome of the workshop and concluded the workshop with a vote of thanks.
