Good Governance Day Celebrations

On the occasion of the birthday of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India, Good Governance Day was organized at Vishnu Institute of Technology.

An elocution competition on the "Use of Technology and Innovation in promoting Good Governance" was held on 24 December 2014.The event started with the address of Director and Principal of Vishnu Institute of Technology Dr. D. Suryanarayana. He explained the importance of Good Governance Day and dwelt on the various aspects of governance. He underlined how effective use of technology would facilitate good governance and also stressed on the need for innovation in such matters. 40 students participated in the contest. Cash prizes were given away to the winners.

M. Hari Krishna of CSE B won the first prize.
The II prize was shared by K. Ramesh Varma(CSE-B) and Hema Sankar(ME).
The III prize went to G.Susmitha (CSE-A) and Sai Vijaya(ECE-C)
