Guest Lecture on Document Image Analysis

The department of Computer Science & Engineering organized a guest lecture on "Document Image Analysis and Recognition" on 05-08-2014. The resource person Dr. P Pavan Kumar (PhD - UoH), Free Lancer, created awareness among the students and faculty regarding development of OCR software and creating editable text from document images. He also discussed the Open Source Tools required for these tasks.
